It was a great experience organizing and conducting an Adhar Silver Jubilee Symposium on “ CSR for the Specially Abled- Ways to make it more meaningful” yesterday, on 5th Dec2018.

The event was graced by various stalwarts from different sectors. Our heartfelt thanks to the chief guest Mr. Jonathan Hwang Cultural Affairs Officer- US Consulate, Mumbai for gracing the symposium with his inspiring speech. Our special thanks to Ms. Shweta Shalinii Advisor to CM (Maharashtra), ED at Maharashtra Village Social Transformation Foundation, for spending her precious time with us and discussing different issues about intellectual disability, social responsibility and government policies. We are also grateful to Mr. Prashant Joshi Chief Operating and Risk Officer, IndoStar Capital Finance Limited for sharing his views about CSR, it’s practical implementation and the need for volunteering by the corporate employees. We were blessed to have the youngest speaker, Mr. @Kaushik Datta Programme Lead/Specialist, National CSR Hub, TISS. to share his mind about CSR as a career and some fundamental issues need to be considered in this sector.
