Established on June 15, 2010, Aai Day Care Center was founded by a group of seven parents who observed the need for special education for mentally challenged children in and around Pen.

Since its inception, Aai Day Care has faced challenges, including finding suitable premises and transportation to bring children from various villages to the center. Despite these hurdles, the center has grown into a large facility with fully-equipped classrooms and vocational training programs, empowering children to become self-sufficient. Aai Day Care also organizes workshops, events, and award functions to celebrate the achievements of its residents
