Fortive Day of Caring at ADHAR Nashik

On 9th July 2024, volunteers from the Fortive Day of Caring Group representing Gems Sensors & Controls and Setra—visited the SCH & LCH units at Adhar Nashik. Welcomed by Mr. Sitaram Chandawarkar (Senior Trustee) and Mr. Sandesh Sawant (Project Head) the group was introduced to Adhar’s work through a special video presentation.

During their visit, the volunteers explored the LCH unit, where they actively participated in engaging activities such as making paper bags, packing handkerchiefs, and Diya painting. The interaction brought joy to both the visitors and residents, fostering a sense of inclusivity and shared learning.

Adhar’s special children performed dance performance, filling the atmosphere with energy and happiness. The Fortive volunteers enthusiastically joined the dance, making the experience even more memorable. As a token of their support, the group generously donated daily essentials for Adhar residents.

On behalf of the group, Ms. Priyanka Bangera expressed her gratitude for Adhar’s commitment to creating a nurturing environment and organizing engaging activities for its special children. The visit was a touching experience that built a connection between Adhar and the Fortive team.
