On 24th November 2024, Adhar celebrated the culmination of our Founder’s centenary year with the prestigious launch of the ‘Madhavrao Gore Seva Gaurav Award.’ This groundbreaking initiative honors nonprofits for exemplary contributions to the field of Intellectual Disability, preserving the visionary ideals of our Founder, Mr. Madhav G. Gore.

The event commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting by our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Bhalchandra Barve, Joint Managing Director of Blue Cross Laboratories alongwith Adhar Chairman and Trustees.

It was followed by a soulful musical tribute by Smt. Ketaki Bhave Joshi and her talented team, including Nachiket, Swara, and others. Their melodious renditions of Mr. Gore’s favorite songs created an atmosphere of nostalgia and reverence, filling Kohinoor Hall with golden memories.

The inaugural award was proudly presented to “Aai Day Care Sanstha,” Pen, Raigad District, Maharashtra, recognizing their outstanding commitment to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Moving forward, this national award will be presented annually to deserving organizations. Applications will be accepted from non-profits across the country working in the field of Intellectual Disability. The award includes a trophy, a citation certificate, a cash prize, and networking opportunities will be provided by Adhar to enhance the growth and influence of the award-winning organization.

Distinguished NGO’s from across Maharashtra graced this historic occasion, including Dnyanprabodhini from Korti, Solapur, Ashay Bahuuddeshiya Samajik Sanstha from Badlapur, Kshitij from Mumbai, Mann from Mumbai, Sahvas Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha from Jalgaon, Nirdhar Pratishthan from Virar, and Sangopita from Badlapur.
