With 31 years of experience in managing residential facilities for intellectually challenged adults in Badlapur and 12 years in Nashik, Adhar has expanded its services to support more families in Western Maharashtra. On the auspicious day of Ram Navami, April 17, 2024, Adhar proudly inaugurated its third branch at Harpalwadi, Satara, in the presence of over 250 attendees.

This new facility is dedicated to providing lifelong residential care for approximately 125 special individuals (both male and female). The Satara campus spans 4.5 acres and is designed to offer a comfortable living environment for specially-abled adults, featuring four dormitories, a dining area, vocational training rooms, a medical unit, kitchen, laundry, play area, garden, pathways, and a water harvesting structure. While enrollment for special adults requiring support is underway, we are simultaneously working to ensure the facility is fully prepared for the comfort of our residents. Currently, the Satara centre is home to 15 residents, with plans to reach full capacity soon.
